...to be deducted from each one of my paychecks to be contributed to the #VivaCares employee emergency assistance fund. I understand that my contributions to the #VivaCares fund will help provide for other Viva Chicken employees who may be in a one-time crisis situation and need supplemental financial assistance towards emergencies and short-term hardships. VivaCares may also help towards non-emergency needs such as the school supplies initiative, other employee engagement initiatives and events*.
If you wish to discontinue payroll deductions, then Viva Chicken needs written notice seven days in advance of the beginning of the pay period that you want to stop the deductions from being made.
I understand that I cannot be reimbursed for any contributions made and that if I apply for assistance my request goes through the same approval process as someone who may not be contributing to the VivaCares fund. There is a committee that determines what a qualifying need is and to what extent financial assistance can be provided. This fund does not provide loans to employees.
